Opened in September 2017, Mountainside High School is an International Baccalaureate (IB) school that offers students the opportunity to take classes in the Middle Years Program and the Diploma Program. The school also offers AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination), a college readiness program that helps students develop important skills for success in college and beyond.  The high school takes its name from its proximity to nearby Cooper Mountain.

The school is located at the Southwest Corner of the City of Beaverton.  Many wonderful neighborhoods are nearby and it has great location nearby many major businesses.  This convenient location provides students and the local community with plenty of options for food, fun, and relaxation.  In fact, Progress Ridge Town Square, a destination shopping center in the area, offers a variety of dining, shopping, and entertainment options, including fine and casual dining restaurants, medical and professional services, and Big Al’s family entertainment center located across the street.   There are also many wineries within a 10 mile radius.  This area is an amazing place to live!  Enjoy this video:
